DS Automobiles, which set out under the motto “Health is not a luxury,” will soon open its fourth store in Turkey as part of our Konsept Bornova project.
DS Automobiles is the luxury automotive division of Groupe PSA. DS was initially launched in 2009 as a premium sub-brand of Citroën and became an independent brand in 2014. While the brand’s vehicles are sold at Citroën dealerships in some countries, they are sold at their own dealerships in many others.

French automaker Citroën created a sub-brand using “DS”—the name of one of the most iconic models in its history—as part of a successful strategy. By making subtle tweaks to the platforms of existing Citroën models, it developed the DS3, DS4, and DS5, which established an unconventional design direction.
Since the launch of the first modern DS model, the DS3, Citroën has managed to sell more than 500,000 DS vehicles worldwide in just four years; the company has now decided to position DS not as a sub-series but as a separate brand.
Citroën had already begun selling DS models at separate dealerships in China some time ago. DS will now officially continue as an independent automotive brand. The launch of the DS brand was also announced with the Divine Dadlı concept model.
You’ll be able to see these concept models exclusively at Konsept Bornova in Izmir.
